Summary of lessons Practice Company
Our work in the practice company of AUTOCENTRUM OA, s. r. o. was very beneficial for us and to certain extend it really simulated the function of a real company. Our practice company had signed a contract with the real company Autocentrum Opel - Hyundai Rožňava in which we had an opportunity to take part in mystery shopping. We saw how the process of buying and selling cars works and what it consists of.
Participation in a training company has prepared us for our future lives in case somebody wanted to be a successful businessman/businesswoman. We gained lots of skills; we increased our organizational skills in leading, our communicational skills which we improved on Trade Fairs for student companies and many more. Communication is really important in this sphere because if you want to sell something, you have to know how to speak with people. Some of us may have also discovered some hidden talents. We too developed our creativity thanks to preparation of the exhibition stands, which represented us and especially our company at fairs.
We had learnt how to hire new employees through a job interview, which we also tried. At first we sent our employment application, CV, Europass and consent to allow the processing of our personal data. Then we wait for a response and an invitation to a job interview.
It was a great experience just as the entire work in the company. We were a good team; we had lots of fun, so many experiences from our travels to fairs which took place in different cities. We found out that the leading of a company is not as easy as it may appear.
It was an amazing
school to life.

The fair trade in Nitra

In 5-6 of November 2019 our training company took part on our last fair trade of training companies in Nitra, which took place at Agrokomplex. We traveled to Nitra by train. This fair trade was another test for us, a great new experience and last but not least, fun. Like other fairs, this as a group again brought us a little closer. We had to respect each other and find solutions together in different situations. Around 39 training companies from Slovakia and 11 from abroad presented themselves at this training trade fair from the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Romania, Italy, Hungary, Turkey, Portugal, Austria and Lithuania.
Although the
competition was strong, we managed to achieve great placements. The director of
our training firm, Frederik Filip Papai, represented our training company in
the
"99 Seconds of the Elevator" competition in the English language,
where he took an impressive first place. Our training company has also been
awarded the SCCF award for the TOP e-promotion of the training company. In the
overall ranking of training companies in the competition BEST TRAINING COMPANY,
our training firm ranked in a very nice 9th place.
We enjoyed the fair in Nitra. We met a lot of new people, but we got to know each other more, we had fun, we gained new experience in trading and also in communication in foreign languages. We spent our free time mostly in shopping center OC Mlyny Nitra.
The fair ran
like water and we had to pack up again and go home. Even though we were too
tired, we still didn't want to go home. We also traveled to Rožňava by train.
The whole time we spent together went very quickly and we all enjoyed it.

Fair of training companies in Košice
On October 23-24, 2019, our training company participated in the international fair of training companies of the V4 countries in Košice. The fair was organized by the Business Academy, Watsonova 61 Košice.
At this fair of training companies, 26 training companies from Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Poland joint this competitioin. At each fair, there was a competition in various categories. Although the competition was strong, we managed to achieve great placement. We won first place in the "Best ... catalog" category, which surpassed other training companies. It was a huge success and joy for us. On the first day of the fair, we built our stand, for which we had about 2 hours. Later, trading began. The trading was a bit stressful, as the jury was strict. When the trading ended, we had to close our booth to make it usable again the next day and not fall apart. On the second day of trading, it passed like water. Everyone had a role to play and therefore we were not confused. Finally, there was a category statement. We won interesting prizes, which certainly made us very happy. We took some nice photos and went to pack the stand. We put all the things in the car and we were eager to head back home.
We
all really enjoyed the fair in Košice together. We met a lot of new people, a
lot of companies with nice business ideas,
we had already overcome all the stress of trading, as it was not our first or
last fair. Certainly, our communication and especially our ability to work as a
team was improving. We are glad that we were able to represent our business
academy in such a beautiful city as Košice.

25. International Trade fair in Prague
On 20. - 22. 03. 2019 took place in Prague 25. International Trade fair of practice companies. There were 124 practice companies from 9 states (Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Luxemburg, Osterriech, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Italy). This trade fair is organized by students from a firm Antre, s. r. o. (Business academy Heroldovy sady 1, Prague). The trade fair is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic and the Mayor of Prague, MUDr. Zdeněk Hřib. At the fair they attended: Jana Fazekašová, Simona Máziková, Erik Olejník, Adriána Žoriová from III.B and IV. A, bilingual students: Michaela Gargušová, Patrik Hajdúk, Simona Lesňáková a Frederik Filip Pápai under guidance Ing. Stanislavy Lukáčovej. We participated in several competitions: the best catalogue, the best stand, the best electronic presentation, the company fair, 90 seconds in the elevator. At the fair, we prepared an exhibition stand, promotional materials, a catalogue, an electronic presentation in the English language, and in front of the International Commission we presented a speech in English about the subject of their training firm's business. As part of other activities, we voluntarily contributed to the cultural program with typical folk dance from Gemer. Despite this, we have achieved very good success in strong competition.

Trading in Vranov
On 7th of December it took place at Business Academy XII. "Christmas market of Practice companies. The market was organized as a competition between domestic firms in the presence of invited companies. It was attended by 8 companies: 5 practise companies from the mainstream school and firm from SOŠ Prešov, firm from Vranov nad Topľou and our practise company.
The aim was to gain experience in trading and test in preparation for the Market of Practise companies in Prague. From the begin of the school year we managed to create a business plan, we signed the social contract, announced trade, entered into Commercial Register, registered at the tax office in the Slovak center of practice companies, opened a bank account, prepared a logo, slogan, Slovak and English catalogue, prepared some promotional materials, created corporate stamp and trained and producted materials into the exhibition stand. We were preparing for the market conscientiously and this preparation has bring also own first fruit. We won the competition The best presentation of the practice company. The presentation was in Slovak and English.
Mystery shopping
Our practice company activelly coorperate with the real company Autocentrum Opel-Hyundai in Rožňava. The main part of coorperation was practice experience in September and October in 2018 right in this company - salestore of vehicles, where we practically trained buying vecihles on the way of so called Mystery shopping (even if employees have knew about us as "customers").
We are so thankfull to the company for this experience, it gave us a lot of ideas, perceptions or observations, which we have used to create new practice company.
